In November 2025, the HBA team went on a delightful Food Hunting adventure, exploring some of Penang’s best local spots while enjoying quality time together outside the office.
Our day started bright and early 🌅 with a hearty breakfast at Tasty Toastys (Perak Road) — a local favourite known for its comforting morning bites that perfectly kicked off our day.
After breakfast, the team explored the vibrant streets of George Town, taking part in a Heritage Walk & Street Art Exploration around Armenian Street and nearby areas. From iconic murals to hidden alleys, it was a great way to appreciate Penang’s rich culture and history.
Of course, no food adventure is complete without desserts 🍰! We made a sweet stop at Bulu Bulu Cafe, where everyone enjoyed delicious treats and a relaxing break to recharge. Also, there is a lots of furry cats!
The day continued with a satisfying lunch at Nasi Kandar Deen Maju, one of Penang’s must-try spots, famous for its rich flavours and variety of dishes — a perfect way to end our food trail on a high note.
This activity wasn’t just about food — it was about connection, laughter, and appreciating the little moments together. It reminded us that sometimes the best team bonding happens in the simplest ways: exploring, tasting, and enjoying the journey side by side.
